...and they're back?
I'm sure there was a time frame in which they were not there, I refreshed multiple times as well. Strange...

Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

But the fact is that Mateusz didn't mentioned SubVerse on his last blogpost, so thats why I doubt.

There are free to play games on Steam, like Team Fortress 2. You knew that, right?Pulsaris wrote:Before you can play with Steam, there are 3 things you must do first:

Yeah! I think Mateusz can make 2 versions. One Free with compact screen, and one expensive with fullscreen and soundtrack.

Yes, your games have to be purchased. Your point being?Pulsaris wrote:Before you can play with Steam, there are 3 things you must do first:

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, if the old boss had been an octahedron, which they weren't.
Re: off topic
Yea, from Runescape to Hearthstone, F2P is often like a cake, in Portal. Also, a number of F2P titles in steam is also available somewhere else.gil2455526 wrote:There are free to play games on Steam, like Team Fortress 2. So, excluding all that, you may just as well pay up. If any average people can resist the temptation to pay up, Valve should have declared bankruptcy by now.

And the most funny thing I still can't see any sense in HD version. :PENIHCAMBUS wrote:One Free with compact screen, and one expensive with fullscreen and soundtrack. :P
Except official soundtracks.
What is HD screen? You just see all things BIGGER, but not more DETAILED! And in some game moments, it is even worse than in SD version.
Again: HD versions should contain something more than just soundtrack.
So, I don't mind in paying 1-5$ for every beautiful game. Because they all are ALREADY perfect in graphics and screen size!
Re: off topic
For people who don't want to pay up, like me, Steam is not a suitable place. Well, it does have F2P games, but I can play those elsewhere.Ancient Crystal wrote:Yes, your games have to be purchased. Your point being?Pulsaris wrote:Before you can play with Steam, there are 3 things you must do first:

Off-topic: To be blunt, very very blunt, none of Mateusz's games is worth any money. Their replay value is nearly zero, and they don't have good graphics nor music. Mateusz is not really the popular Mateusz when he published sub4 now, and moving onto a new pasture (Steam) seems very risky to me, because he won't carry much of the fans to there. Of course, he is not Amanita Designs, so what can I expect? Well, just like other indies, the key to success is originality, and does Mateusz have it? I hope so, but I'm afraid... (besides, Steam games generally need more effort than flash...)
Re: off topic
Talking about this, I want to add: In Kongregate people are criticizing the small size of the game screen, and indeed, it's too small even in a flash standard.Sublevel 102 wrote:And the most funny thing I still can't see any sense in HD version.ENIHCAMBUS wrote:One Free with compact screen, and one expensive with fullscreen and soundtrack.

I'm not expecting Botanicula or The Room quality, but if Mateusz cannot handle a screen size of around 800x600, he doesn't need to think about steam; he may retire after sub10. (Insomnia leads to blunt words, so I guess I should sleep now. Good night guys.)

I think everyone noticed latest Mateusz's games have screen size twice bigger than early games. :)
Even my computer monitor is smaller!
