Re: off topic
Total of ten hours flight to Singapore, via Sydney.
Absolutely tedious.
Then we drove up to JB for a day, slept off the Jet Lag. Little sister has never been to M'sia before, and doesn't know what the climate's like-she wet the bed...
Had some Roti Canai and some Teh Tarik (gah this stupid autocorrection replaces 'teh' with 'the') at a small local eat and meet. It was really nice.
If you couldn't speak Malay, you wouldn't be able to eat there
Fell asleep at dinner. :/
Raining now. Big thunderstorm, so we're going to take a run for the train station before the worst comes. Four hour trip to Segamat, mainly going to be spent reading some Chinese version of Goosebumps
What I find really funny about Johor is that the local Sultan (monarchs have a tad too much power here I find...) changed the school days for Johor from Monday to Friday to a frustrating Sunday to Thursday-just so his grandson could go to Religious services at the expense of the rest of the state! :/
Heh, when it rains, it pours. And rumbles, too.
The street is under about 3 inches of water.
And the dogs have stopped barking...
:O Remembered something.
At the airport in S'pore, we found out that my Mum's baggage never actually made the transit in Sydney! So she had to wait the entire night to get hold of her stuff
We were all predicting that when the luggage did actually make it to S'pore it would be blown up because it was unaccompanied luggage. Thank goodness S'pore customs aren't so tight on anything that doesn't include drugs. (Drugs= death penalty
)
Might draw a few things while I'm here.
Haven't posted anything recently, one because I haven't bothered to...and two because the scanner is too small for A3 and I still haven't quite mastered the art of digital stitching for the ones that I have bothered to draw.
It's a shame I'm not visiting Selangor, I could pay Kakama a visit XD
Might not be able to post later.
EDIT: Road is now under 5 inches of water.
EDIT 2: Absolutely soaked, my cousin dragged me out into the rain and kept me there for five minutes

Nice to see you're in Malaysia.

Don't worry, it's not the only state that does this. (luckily not mine though)What I find really funny about Johor is that the local Sultan (monarchs have a tad too much power here I find...) changed the school days for Johor from Monday to Friday to a frustrating Sunday to Thursday-just so his grandson could go to Religious services at the expense of the rest of the state! :/
Maybe if you come in December, then I'll be in Singapore or Johor for a while. It's a shame I'm not visiting Selangor, I could pay Kakama a visit XD
A3 is quite a big size for a drawing, I hope we can see it, it might be epic.Haven't posted anything recently, one because I haven't bothered to...and two because the scanner is too small for A3 and I still haven't quite mastered the art of digital stitching for the ones that I have bothered to draw.

So you like rain?EDIT 2: Absolutely soaked, my cousin dragged me out into the rain and kept me there for five minutes
Is this my final form?
Re: off topic
My Dad says if it wasn't for the occasional arbitrary bylaws that get scattered around Malaysia (all countries do it, he just finds these ones particularly irritating) we would have likely settled down here.Don't worry, it's not the only state that does this. (luckily not mine though)
Oh, what other kinds of funny things like that are there in Malaysia?

:O I found out that we may be passing throughQuote:

HahahaSo you like rain?

It's a change from NZ rain. Much warmer, too...
Train trip was boring. Dad broke my score on 2048 (the logic game) by a few thousand points.
Learnt (and remembered) some Malay.
Tomorrow we will be visiting some of my Mum's siblings around Segamat before taking the train to KL on Tuesday.
Ugh, this Jet Lag is a pain...it even upsets my stomach clock XD
