But to be fair, none of you draw humans very much either (and forum stories don't count XD).

Edit: I noticed someone prefers robots, someone prefers furry creatures, but everyone can't draw humans well. XD

well, to be fair humans are pretty difficult to get right, any small mistake and you enter the Uncanny Valley, unlike any other thing you can draw.

you can of course exploit the Uncanny Valley for your purposes, that's what some horror stories do. Humans where it all looks fine but you can sense something slightly... wrong on them are more scary than just monsters.

I know.

but I'm not so sure if it applies to animals as well as humans. after all, natural selection makes us recognize differences in human's faces more easily than animals.

though dangerous animals are already kinda scary on their own XD
