No,that was exactly what I remembered when I woke up.
A dream journal isn't going to work for me because as soon as I wake up I have 20 minutes to go to school, and I have no time to write anything in the morning.

Well, there it is. Am I going crazy? It wouldn't surprise me. This is truly the weirdest, scariest, and most vivid dream I have ever had. The worst thing is how much I can remember. As a kid I had a series of recurring nightmares about a headless man that I can still recall to this day, but this is just something else entirely. I’ve wasn’t able to shake it off until earlier this afternoon.
Weird dreams never mean your crazy. In fact, not having weird dreams is a better indicator your not sane. XD

There seems to be some really interesting symbols here.

A man with a beard can symbolize an authority figure, and you do listen to him.
Nuclear reactors can be a symbol of power or science, yet interestingly there is a tree in the middle
Trees are packed with symbolism, from life and death, to wisdom, fertility, etc. Here is the best article I found on it:
http://www.unclesirbobby.org.uk/dreamdictionarytree.php
The quarry can be a symbol of hard work and the rewards of hard work, though I don't know why it is slate.
The mansion seems to be the fruits of the hard work.
Your own death can actually be a symbol of freedom from something... freedom from the fruits of your work???

Shoot, gotta get to work. I'd love to analyze this some more though...

By the way, just found this set of lectures on itunes U with tons of relevant dream stuff:

Interesting how we can associate trees with so many different things. I find that a nice thought.

That's just our minds wanting to connect everything into a bigger pattern.
The basic idea of dreams is our minds messing with...our minds.

In other word dreams are just an opportunity for our minds to mess about?

Maybe?
We don't know but maybe one of the reasons is that our minds want to take a break from reality and play God for once.
Be in control.

Interesting. I never thought of it that way.

Of course, this is my point of view.Maybe the reasons could be different for other people, because some dreams seem worse than reality.

I thought of dreams more as replaying events from our day (maybe our life), and just mixing and matching, maybe trying to tell us something, even though we may not understand the message until it's too late.

Random dream: I just remember driving a race car, but that's related to watching the Music Video for Rush's "Driven."

I actually had a dream a few nights ago I thought of mentioning on here about an empty house in a wooded area that I've probably seen in upstate New York, it was snowy, and I was inside there with a group for no reason I know of. I started running outside of the front of the house and I was confronted by someone from the group as I walked backwards, and I woke up.

It seems it is a kind of formatting, or creating associations. And yeah, it often though not always relates to the day we have had.

Edit: Oh interesting... Babylon, I just realized the first dream you put down here has a horn blaring in it, and the second has a ringing at the end. Hmmm...
