Re: Weather Thread
Wiq, I heard on the radio today that Michigan and Minnesota and that northern area has actually been experiencing less snow than usual this winter. Can you confirm?

Re: Weather Thread
Answer: Yes/No.
Yes: there was less snow, on Christmas up to New Years. Not a drop of snow.
No: there was never ending snow after January 5th. One of my classes on a Wednesday:
But when I got home, about 30 minutes after getting inside, there was nothing but sunshine. I had to check Intellacast to see what was up, and the storm I drove through was split down the middle and going around my house. But it was still bad. And the remainder of the snow is hard pack so its taking time for it to melt.
In Short: its inconvenient. Not around for Christmas or New Years Eve, but around after that, all in one blast. Mostly sunshine now, but the last of the snow on the ground is hard pact and will take time to melt away.

Later, at about 12:30 in my second class, I was allowed to step out to get some lunch, which was less than a quarter mile to the restaurant, it was worst. When I got back, My Teacher wanted to know how bad it was, and I told him like it was. I ask if I could leave early cause I didn't want to get snowed in at the campus. He said alright. I was driving no faster than 35 mph on a 55 mph road.WorldisQuiet5256 wrote:So I'm driving to Class and I'm about half a mile away from the campus at about 8:08 in the morning.
There was already snow blowing and I had my headlights turned on.
As soon as I drove pass a Field to my right, my visibility just plummet. I couldn't even see the Traffic light on my side of the road until I saw the one on the road next to me first.
Then there was this car, no more than about 5 or 6 feet in front of me, and I could just barley make out its outline.
