I find odd that Egg Machines look like Portal's Sentry Turrets, but that Portal 1 was released in 2007 and Submachine 3 was released in 2006. :?

I think the term 'egg' is specific to chicken eggs. (anyway the first chicken came from an egg laid by a creature not a chicken, so still right)

I mean, the whole thing with evolution is that descendants belong to the clade their ancestors did, so ultimately the chicken is what it came from, no matter how many iterations of egglaying you have. Birds are dinosaurs, pterosaurs are not.

^Correct!
Thus, at one point, the chicken didn't "Lay" Eggs, they gave birth to the chicks. Until one day, a Chicken laid the first egg and was like 'bawkock?'
