Song stuck in your head!
Re: Song stuck in your head!
Level X is looping in my head.
I kinda want to become some sort of audio engineer or learn some sort of music editing program just so I can make a ten minute version of this.

from what Layer?
from what Layer?

Re: Song stuck in your head!
it's Sub10's loop.
Re: Song stuck in your head!
What was your favorite Sub10 ambient? Karma Studies Facility's ambient most.
I have to say the soundtrack for sub10 was not as good as the older ones. My favorite is Sub 8.

Bender sucks
Re: Song stuck in your head!
My favourite ambients are the revisited ones, especially the lighthouse and the temple. And cathedral extended, of course.
Of the new ones it's true that they're not as good, I would also pick the karma facility's one.

Some of the ambients of Sub 10 was awful, such as Receiver Bay. The soundtrack and the uncreative revisiting of other games is the things I hated about Submachine 10.

Re: Song stuck in your head!
I liked the revisiting of old games. It's a good way to tie the series together, we already got our share of entirely new locations from Sub6 onwards, and the games felt far apart from each other. I don't think it's an uncreativity problem because Mateusz might as well have replaced them with entirely new locations, I think it was a good development choice.

@Bender: What other songs didn't you like?

Re: Song stuck in your head!
strange thing, now I relisten "Layer locations" ambients, and now they sound normal to me. Not awesome, but ok.
When I first played it, I was confused and sad a bit. There was HUGE taste of SEP on my ears' tongue

My favorite ones where the dock/ship area, SHIVA Access area and the Tunnels revisited.
And I honestly feel a little disrupted by the Angel Ruins ambient, it sounds like this:
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUMMMM
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
