YES! There is a term for it.
It's like the equivalence when some terrorist group are planning to commit a terrorist act. Then some bystander unknowingly finds out about it.

The terrorist group should leave him alone. If they kill him, they immediately bring attention to themselves. Plus, if they are going in with suicide vest, it shouldn't matter if the bystander can pick them out of a line up.
