I mean, this ship did either assist in or directly cause the destruction of two large superstructures that were the bulwarks of a large, stable economy that had reaches in an entire galaxy. One that restricted its people to a certain extent, but still a stable, livable economic system.

You talk to the right people and they would call that acts of terrorism. Think of how much taxpayer money went into the construction of Death Star I and II. That didn't just affect the bad guys.
